Not one but two Cheltenham victories!

In October the ever-brave Relentless Dreamer (pictured below) made an outstanding effort to hold off Cogry, in the Matchbook Betting Exchange Handicap at Cheltenham ridden faultlessly by Adam Wedge. We are so happy to have a big win for long-standing owner Nigel Morris!

December, Drovers Lane (pictured above) ridden by Sean Bowen continued with his impressive form by stepping up to win the Ryman Novices’ Chase at Cheltenham. He gave away weight all round to good rivals making it three from four over fences! He will have a break now and hopefully be a promising prospect for the festival in March.

With the season well under way, we have been very pleased with all the horse’s performances, with the majority all in the top three. The yard is building up with what looks like a quality string of horses. We have to be especially pleased with Lisnagar Oscar who was runner-up in graded company in only his second hurdling start in the Grade 2 Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle.

The Welsh Racing Awards at Chepstow took place in November, Joe Farrell won The Welsh Chaser of the year! He has returned to training now and we look forward to getting him out in the New Year. We also welcomed Bill Selwyn down to Fforest Farm who took some truly breathtaking pictures of the yard for the December edition of Owner and Breeder magazine.

As the year draws to an end we want to thank all of our owners for their continued support, we look forward to an exciting start to 2019!
